These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the nexuscalculator.org website and the purchase and use of the Nexus Calculator. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Nexus Calc is operated by Nexus Instruments LLC, a US limited liability company. Contact: support@nexuscalculator.org.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian place the order on your behalf) and able to form a binding contract under US law.
3. Orders and Pricing
- All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). The current price of Nexus Calc is $274.99.
- Applicable sales tax and shipping are calculated and shown at checkout.
- Payment is due in full at the time of order.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues. If we cancel after payment, we will issue a full refund.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Nexus Calc is currently out of stock. You may join the waitlist for the next production batch. Shipping estimates and methods are provided at checkout for future orders. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
5. Limited Warranty
Nexus Calc is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, beginning on the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accident, misuse, liquid contact, or unauthorized modification.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect function.
- Normal wear and tear (battery capacity decline, etc.).
To submit a warranty claim, email support@nexuscalculator.org with your order number and a description of the issue.
6. Educational Use Disclaimer
Nexus Calc is sold as an educational tool. It is not intended for use during exams, tests, or any assessed work where outside assistance is prohibited. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with the rules of your school, employer, or institution. Nexus Instruments LLC accepts no liability for academic misconduct or disciplinary action.
7. AI Outputs — Not Professional Advice
Nexus Calc's AI features generate step-by-step explanations of math and science problems. Outputs may contain errors and are provided for educational reference only. They are not a substitute for professional advice in financial, legal, medical, engineering, or safety-critical contexts.
8. Intellectual Property
The Nexus Calc name, logo, website content, product design, and software are owned by Nexus Instruments LLC and protected by US copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute any part of them without our written permission.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: scrape or copy the site at scale; attempt to bypass security or access controls; reverse-engineer the device firmware except as permitted by law; resell the device commercially without prior written permission; or use the product for any unlawful purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Instruments LLC's total liability arising from or related to your purchase or use of Nexus Calc is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Nexus Instruments LLC harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the product, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@nexuscalculator.org and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any unresolved dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, or in your local small-claims court if jurisdictionally eligible.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
